Dear Members,

We have another March club run; the Phillip Island Historics, this year billed as the Penrite 100. This will take place on the 13th to 15th March 2026.

We will have club members competing on track in the regularity and tribute categories. The on track competitors are always glad to have club members roll up, visit the pits and be a part of it all. They are grateful for the support. We would also like to encourage members to bring their coupes and be a part of the trackside display on Shannons Walk.

The car club show cars have become an integral part of the Phillip Island event and as in past years the show cars will be provided with trackside parking along the main straight, an ideal spot to be close to see and hear the iconic cars of the past in competition.

During Saturday, spectators will be judging car club displays. The best presented club will score a $500 award, and the best car will win a Bowden's car care pack which will be presented and live streamed on Sunday.

Display car access will be via a dedicated manned gate. Weekend tickets for car and driver can be purchased on line at humanitix.com or at https://events.humanitix.com/2026-phillip-island-classic-festival-of-motorsport using the password "Penrite2026" for $30.00 (plus 4%) including GST. Drivers of show cars will not be able to purchase tickets at the gate. Once tickets have been purchased further information will be sent out.

Passengers in the show cars can purchase tickets online at the link above for $40.00. Tickets may be purchased for passengers at the gate, but will make entry to the venue quicker if they are pre-purchased online. Accompanying children under 17 are free.

Clubs will have the opportunity for some parade laps on track prior to racing on both Saturday and Sunday. Racing begins at 9am so to participate in this you will need to be trackside early!! 

Please let us know if you will be attending and bringing your coupe. You can do this by registering to attend. This is important. We need to let the VHRR display co-ordinators know numbers for each day a week prior to ensure there is space for you.
